In 1986 and 1987 these "bubble" like back windows were used in NASCAR to increase aerodynamics. In order to do this, Chevrolet had to produce at least 200 cars with this back window. In 1986 there were 200 aerocoupes. In 1987 there 6052, but in 1987, 200 of the aerocoupes had T-Tops.
